Stop Appeasing Start Punishing

When sentenced criminals are not punished by the state and central governments. When leading politician’s help in releasing a convicted criminal responsible for taking thousands of innocent lives by dropping all serious terrorism charges leveled at him. Where the Home Minister in-charge of the nation’s security blames the majority community and brands them as saffron terror for a crime they did not commit. Where fear of backlash and losing power takes precedence over the larger interest of the national security, the dangerous extent of degeneration in our politics is clearly visible. All this to appease a certain minority community for their vote, it’s not constitutional and cannot be a democratic practice. But this is what is being practiced in the name of politics in our country. This blind minority appeasement makes the state, the central government and the political parties’ equal partner in crime. With financial support from the Middle East and logistical support from our western neighbor combined with our government’s wishy washy approach, the southern states have become a breeding ground for terrorists.

Hoping that Wikileaks are being read and followed by our masses, they need to rise and wake up from their long slumber or else it will be too late.

Wikileaks: Kerala, TN are training hubs for Lashkar
Islamic terror groups could have big bases in Tamil Nadu and Kerala, Wikileaks cables now reveal.

A 2009 cable, signed by secretary of state Hillary Clinton, says the Laskhar-e-Taiba had surveyed Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka, and was in the process of setting up training camps. It also says it planned to kill Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi. In another revelation, Hillary says Saudi donors are supporting Sunni terror groups across the world.
