This article is for those who are surprised at the wiki leaks documents. The following documents were de-classified in 2007 where the CIA intel clearly shows that the Pakistani ISI mid-wifed and nurtured the Taliban. I read this report back in 2007 so no surprises for me.
Although it is a peripheral issue, aam aadmi has to be concerned with the direction the UPA’s foreign policy is taking. If I can access these de-classified CIA documents, don’t you think that the IFS officers in the South Block and elsewhere, who are much smarter than I, would have access to these? The question then is: Why are we still talking peace with the Pakistanis instead of trying to isolate them. Hell, we still continue to give them the most favored nation status!!
