Paki PM Insults India’s Rural Women

One has to earn respect. Capability, courage or achievements earn you that. Of course if you depend upon your position for respect then be prepared to be ignored, insulted and spat on (figuratively of course). Manmohan Singh who was the second choice of Narsimha Rao made some obvious moves from Economics 101 and got the country back from a one billion dollar forex reserve and on a road to recovery. When the situation was so terrible, showing improvement is not exactly a major achievement. But small men let things like that go to their head. Latest example is Nitish Kumar. He surely has dug Bihar out of the deep hole. But that is all he has done. However, egged on by the media (who is on a constant lookout for the “maybe not Congress and definitely “not Modi” politician). Nitish Kumar took this faint praise too seriously and destroyed a good thing.

Manmohan Singh forgot that he is a proxy for Rajmata and the Shehzada. He has destroyed any degree of integrity that we associated with our government by allowing rampant looting of the nation. By staying silent on issues of importance he has created an aura of impotence. He is supposed to be this crack economist and has essentially destroyed the Rupee (believe me folks. It will be a long bloody time before we can see Rupee at its last year’s value). When it comes to security and defence matters he has turned India into an image of himself – a doormat. No one in his own party respects him because they all know who the real power is. The latest in this long series of slights that this man has faced is by Rahul Gandhi. Wow. This has to be the lowest of the lows. But try telling that to Singh who has loudly proclaimed to be willing to work under Rahul (as if people think that he is doing otherwise right now).

Till now we were run over by the Chinese. They come into the country like it’s their backyard, mess with us by playing petty visa games, prop up the Pakistanis, do their best to surround us by using Bangladeshis and rebuffed (Sri Lankans – again- Thank you Congress) and destroy our small scale production industry by flooding our market with cheap shit which our ignorant voters are happy to buy. But now we have the paki PM calling Manmohan Singh a “dehati aurat”. First of all, as a person who comes from humble background and with rural roots, I take great umbrage on behalf of or woman from rural areas. These women deal with adversity on a regular basis, work hard in the fields, take care of their families, contribute greatly to the economy and deal with lecherous bastards regularly. How dare the Paki PM compare our rural women to Manmohan Singh??

Jokes aside, let us examine the irony of the statement. Singh refers to paki involvement in terror. Do that is like saying sky is blue. Just today a huge bomb went off in Peshawar. This was the second one in less than a week. This one was within their boundaries. These two do not include their dirty tricks outside of Pakistan. The mall siege in Kenya has paki connections as well. Their attempts at messing with peace in India, Iran and Afghanistan are not news to anyone. In fact, every terrorist attack in the world has paki prints on it. Sorry Nawaz Sharif! You are like a cheap whore representing a cheaper country. You lost the right to be called anything else but a terrorist long time ago.

This is what we have become. Now the pakis are calling us names. Yet watch Manmohan Singh meet and talk peace with this terrorist. Watch him make mockery of all things we revere by visiting Pakistan this year. We are getting humiliated because of our weak kneed response. I hold our liberal, vote-bank politicians responsible for all this. Even our own Atalji was no better when it came to Pakistan. Who can forget Pervez Musharraf getting that building in Lahore cleaned after Atalji visited it. Even then this bastard was invited to India. All he did after coming over was defecate on our hospitality. Even the dumbest of the dumb learn after repeated humiliations.

But the people I really hold responsible are the Indian voters. Yes. We deserve the government we elect. Every mistake made by UPA2 is our fault. If we continue to stay divided for one reason or the other then this is what we will continue to get. The Indian voters need to wake up and smell the stink. Unite and vote for a capable man or get ready for more of the same. It is our choice.

Modi VS Congress A-Team: Fight Or A Joke?

Overcoming a whole lot of self made barriers, the BJP finally elected their contestant for the next PM post. Thank all the Gods! We now have a chance to elect a real leader and a difference maker in Bhai Narendra Modi. He will lead the conservatives and the centre right of India. The whiff of the third front notwithstanding, the main opposition to the BJP will come from the Congress. We all know that the Congress candidate is the Crown Prince Rahul Maino Gandhi. But Congress is afraid to nominate him because then it becomes a well defined fight. NaMo versus RaGa is like US Army versus Granada. It is like Sachin Tendulkar versus me. It is like a racehorse versus a three legged donkey. This why, the Congress is claiming strategic ambiguity and silence. Fear is no strategy.

So far all Congress has done is reacting to Modi’s statements and claims. They are realizing that they are bringing a knife to a gun fight. So they met for five days and have come up with an aggressive strategy. They are going to do what Digvijay Singh has been doing so far: blatant lies, innuendoes and name calling i.e. usual Congress brand sleaze which the mainstream Indian media laps and perpetuates. Except it won’t be Singh alone. Sonia ji has appointed some “articulate’ Congressmen who will essentially carry out a intense negative campaign aided by NDTV and their ilk. However, when you take a look at the Congress A team, you have to say WTF!! They are pitting these corrupt and loudmouth men against one of the best and the most able leaders in our history. Let us go through the list of these ‘articulate’ men and see where they stand in comparison with and able and proven leader like Modi.

Kapil Sibal
This man has been accused of helping the Ambanis in the 2G scam. There is a pending Vodaphone scam (Rs. 11000 crore). He also tried to censor internet and social media sites to help out the Gandhi family. He has made a mockery of various exam systems and made loud claims about the now failed Akash tablet. He made a surreptitious deal with Agnivesh to scuttle Anna Hazare’s campaign. His wife runs a butchery / abattoir which seems to be a curious business for a Hindu. All in all the man has a checkered run in every department he has been in charge. Moreover, he is a known loudmouth with little diplomatic skills.

PC Chidambaran
He is claimed to be deeply involved in the 2G scam. His son is allegedly involved in a scam known as Aircel-Maxis deal. He and his wife have represented some really dubious outfits (Enron, Vedanta Resources and the Saradha Chit Fund in WB). His wife was invested in a company called Fairgrowth which was involved in a securities fraud. As per The Hindu, he pressured poll officer in Sivaganga to influence the poll results in his favor. His term as the Home Minister is known for a lathi charge on protesters in Ramlila maidan in which one woman died. During his tenure we had numerous Naxal and Maoist attacks which are yet to be solved. Perhaps his biggest failure has been the recent Rupee debacle especially because he is supposed to be this highly educated Economist. This man is known only for corruption, destruction of the Rupee and coining the term Hindu Terrorism. Wow!

Salman Khurshid
He is known for his involvement is a non scam i.e. a scam so petty that as per his own partyman, it cannot be called a scam. Stealing from the handicapped!! When confronted by Arvind Kejriwal, our current FM who should be a consummate diplomat lost all cool and threatened Kejriwal with death. Yup. Another piece of work.

Anand Sharma
A lesser known luminary but also involved in a majors cam. India Today (no friend of the BJP) said the following about this man: In a deal reminiscent of the 2G scam that continues to rock the Government, 82 licences to export one million tonnes (MT) of non-basmati rice were doled out by the commerce ministry under Anand Sharma to a chosen few.
Another one like Manmohan, he is a Rajya Sabha member and probably owes his position to loyalty to the party high command rather than his constituency.

Jairam Ramesh
He was one of the better Congressmen. He is also highly educated, liberal but able and seemed like a committed Environment Minister but did not have the backing of the Family or the Government to make any difference. All in all a barking dog with no bite. He was shunted off to a much lesser ministry. So far no involvement in any scams but is a real loudmouth with a penchant for putting his foot in his mouth. In a Congress without the Gandhi Family, he will be an asset. With the Gandhi family in it, he is being reduced to another attack dog of Congress.

Digvijay Singh
He is the biggest blowhard since Lalloo Yadav but far less entertaining. Self acclaimed evaluator of women (“Tunch Maal” versus regular or lesser maal). Guru to Rahul Gandhi and thus responsible for Congress’ defeats in many states. Has been involved in minor scams and confessed to gifting Asaram Harpalani aka Asaram Bapu free land in Indore. He is Asaram’s man in Congress. Digvijay Singh has given new dimension to the word hypocrisy. Routinely stoops to new lows with secularism as an excuse. He lies but not well. Recently got caught lying about BJP paying for burqas and topis. Accuses Hindus of all kinds of terror and is going to be the Congress’ biggest attack dog as he is total loose cannon. He is a spent political force since he cannot bring in votes for Congress but for some unknown reason, still a relevant figure in that party.

So this is Congress A-Team and is supposed to contain the man they could not contain in the last ten or so years with their entire might. As the expression goes, Modi is going to eat their lunch. It is not even going to be a fight because Modi is going to talk issues while these men are going to go all negative. Modi will tell the voters why they should vote for him. These men are going to tell voters lies to hide their own sins.

These men do not worry me. What worries me is continuing disunity in Hindus. We are still divided along familiar fault lines and continue to lose sight of the bigger picture; future of India. Hopefully by the time next election rolls in, we would have set our differences aside and do the right thing for once.

Reaction To Modi's Nomination

As expected, reaction to Bhai Narendra Modi’s nomination is at the extremes. Fans are still rejoicing, walking around with a bounce in their steps and bit of a swell in the chest. His political opponents are going around presenting doomsday scenarios or feigning indifference.

The one thing that really stands out is the intensity and the timing. It was expected to be intensely negative however, the timing of it is curious. Everyone was expecting that Modi will be the PM candidate so some of this leftist outrage should have started to percolate already. However, it seems to have boiled over after the announcements. This means that the jerk brigade in India was hoping that the candidacy may not happen. Now why would they hold on to hope of that kind? I think that they were fully expecting the internal strife in the BJP to derail the Modi nomination. These guys were actually depending on the Advani campaign to do what they could not do with their entire dirty tricks department. Are you not glad that Rajnath Singh’s political machinations and Modi resoluteness thwarted the leftist design which this ignorant old coot was more than willing to carry out.

Another interesting thing is the reaction to Modi’s ascension in the foreign press. Modi has been referred to as a Hindu ideologue at best and extremist at worst. The New York Times which is a leftist toilet paper like the NDTV had a rather vicious article which was written by an American but the contributing authors (credited at the end) were Indians. I am sure that most of the adjectives used for Modi were provided by our own leftists because a paper like NY Times does not care about Indian elections or who gets elected. As usual, the US visa is being used as a character certificate by our feces for brains leftists. Well the question for us to ponder is, do we care what anyone (other than Modi supporters) thinks of Modi? The straight forward answer is NO.

Baba Ramdev was held at the British airport for a very long time and questioned. This is a country whose capital is often referred to as Londonistan (by conservative Brits) and has a virulently Islamist population living among them is stopping a Yoga guru. Now If I were the Baba, I would take the next flight back to India and tell the Brits to sit on something sharp and hard. I don’t know what the Baba is going to do but I hope that he comes back. My point is that we need to look at our past and our potential future and develop a sense of pride so that the only opinion which counts is ours. What the western press thinks should be as relevant to us as our current PM is to decision making.

The leftist intelligentsia (intelligent in their own world) is threatening to leave India. People like the repugnant Amitav Ghosh who do not even live in India have taken it upon themselves to criticize a consummate patriot and the only performing leader like Modi. If these people want to leave then my suggestion would be to please buy a one way ticket and promise never to return. In turn I promise to contribute money towards their ticket and help them pack and carry their stuff to the train or the airport or the leaky boat I would like them to take.

So to Bhai Narendra and his supporters, I say unite and vote. Because we cannot let Hindu votes be divided. We cannot become complacent. No matter what the weather or the conditions, we must take a vow to go out to vote. Dear Hindus, unite and vote because this is an election for India’s future. We have a chance to elect a difference making leader. If we do not go out and vote in large numbers and in a united manner then we deserve Rahul Gandhi as the next PM.

To the leftists who have lost all objectivity and have nothing better to do than spew vitriol, I wish you the worst and by worst I mean a Modi victory. Because nothing would be a greater punishment for Indian liberals than to see a Prime Minister Narendra Damodardas Modi putting India on a course for development, prosperity and peace.

Narendra Modi’s Nomination – Heroes And Zeroes

It is more of a relief than pleasure that I felt when I heard the news. It feels that the BJP did the right thing after exhausting all other possibilities. While Modi clearly is the hero here, working tirelessly for the last decade against a relentless opposition from everyone including his own party. This man has gone through more “agni-pariksha” than any other mortal. At every stage, he has proven his mettle, silenced his critics and enthused his supporters. He has done everything that is needed to earn this nomination. However, he has not arrived at this point in history all by himself. I would like to make a list of those who deserve a tip of the hat and those who deserve severe admonishment.

Heroes:

1. Narendra Modi himself. I don’t think anything more needs to be said at this stage.

2. Amit Shah. The man clearly is Narendra Bhai’s man Friday. A significant amount of credit for Modi’s electoral success has to be given to Shah. Judging by the moves this man has made in UP gives you glimpse into this man’s organizational capabilities.

3. Modi supporters. An ardent bunch, this group has single handedly taken it upon them to take the fight to the media and the NGOs who have bullied every conservative in the country. We at Net Hindu would like to think that in some miniscule way, we contributed to the pro Modi wave. Modi supporters in the BJP itself ensured that their voices could not be ignored for the deaf old men in Delhi and Nagpur.

4. However, the biggest hero is Rajnath Singh. I feel bad that I always thought that he was responsible for the debacle in 2004. It is clear now that Advani and his crew ran a roughshod over Rajnath. Why is he the big hero? Until a year ago, Modi was still who he is today. However the list of people opposed to him was immense. For the moment let us ignore the Modi’s non BJP enemies. Even in BJP, there was a tremendous opposition from the Delhi establishment. These incompetent leaders have benefitted from the status quo and have used the putrid concept of collective leadership to hide their failures and incompetence. As we have seen in the last decade or so, BJP has been reduced to a B team of Congress. Under the leadership of Advani, the BJP’s presence in the states with UPA allies was reduced to a shadow. BJP got wiped out of Odisha, Andhra, Assam, Maharashtra, Karnataka (this one really is on Advani and Ananth Kumar). The same leaders wanted to keep Modi out of Delhi because he was the one man who could mount a credible challenge to the do-nothing thumb-twiddlers in Delhi. They were also afraid that their usual corrupt ways and quid pro quo practices would be disabled. With Modi around them may actually have to get up and do something or take a stand. None of the Delhi based BJP wallahs wanted Modi in. Now the old men in RSS who had inflicted a clown like Gadkari on the hapless BJP were more than happy to inflict again. All this was done in the name of the anti-personality cult these old men were seemingly stood opposed. It was clear that with Modi at helm, these men who were to BJP what Sonia is to Congress, would be marginalized and lose their importance. For a while it seemed that these men would rather lose the next election and re-elect Congress rather than elect Modi. Behind the scene machinations clearly engineered by Rajnath Singh corrected all that. The first proof of his grand design became evident when Gadkari was removed and Singh became the chief. After that somehow, the RSS elders came around and became Modi backers. They probably realized that he was the best chance for a conservative at helm. I would really like to thank them for this all important change of heart. After this the challenge was Advani who knew that with a weakened Congress, it was the best opportunity for him. What this old coot failed to see was that the only reason why Modi has a good chance of winning is because there are voters out there who are willing to vote for him but not BJP. Advani did everything he could to stop Modi’s nomination. In fact not too long ago Modi came out and said that he would be happy serving Gujarat till 2017 which clearly was his way of expressing his frustration at the roadblocks to his nomination. Even the BJP CMs were giving mixed signals. I am sure that it was Rajnath Singh’s deft politicking that brought this one home. If Modi wins the 2014 election, the nation would owe a debt of gratitude to Singh. I certainly do.

Zeroes:

1. Sushma Swaraj and MM Joshi. They did their best to keep Modi out by ganging up with Advani. However, they redeemed themselves by doing the right thing albeit as the last resort.

2. Lal Jaichand Advani. What can I say about this man? A cantankerous old man who is still trying to scuttle the BJP boat. A true blue traitor to the party who in his hubris has destroyed the very entity he claims to have built. This man has ridden the coattails of greater men than he and thinks that seniority somehow makes him a claimant to the PM’s chair. This man should have been born into the Gandhi family. He cannot go away soon enough.

3. Naysayers outside of the BJP. To this group of bitter losers I would say thhhbbbbppppptttt!!

It is only the first step in the right direction. With this under his belt, we can already see the grand design that Modi with the help of Rajnath Singh and others has planned. That of course will be a topic of another post. But for now:

Food Security Bill: A Fraud To Help Congress

Short selling is a way of making money on falling stocks or currencies. I am sure that people on Wall Street and elsewhere are getting rich on sinking ship, otherwise known as the Rupee. This has a potential of being the world’s largest scam if the UPA could get a cut from the financial houses making this money. However that would mean that the trio of Manmohan, Chidambaran and Montek can manage the situation to their benefit. I don’t think that these men are as smart as they or other Congressmen think. But it still is a point to ponder.

Manmohan Singh has to be the worst PM / Economist the civilized world has ever seen. This shameless man (he recently reinstated Ashwini Kumar) is leading India’s financial (at the very least) destruction. The final nail in the coffin or the last string around the “arthi” (maybe not for long but we are still Hindus) is this food security bill which is more like vote security bill for the Congress. The Rupee is the worst currency in the world right now. Pakistan’s currency is in a better shape. That should tell you something. If all this were not bad enough, it is estimated that the new bill is going to cost 1.3 lakh crores annually. That is one of the biggest reasons the Rupee is getting destroyed.

Essentially Sonia Gandhi is behaving like behaving like an old fashioned Italian mother who would do anything including total destruction, to ensure her son’s future. Unfortunately, at this rate there may not remain much for the Prince to lead. Judging by the way the bill cleared our divided Loksabha; it is not inconceivable that there may be a UPA III. Yes. The ignorant and selfish voters of India may reelect this crooked bunch again instead of putting them out to pasture. Even the BJP supported this bill. That they did in face of the opposition from Narendra Modi, tells you how divided a house that is. I am afraid that the party will not completely rally behind Modi until Lal Jaichand Advani is gone in the worst possible way. If he doesn’t then he will indirectly ensure a Congress victory. That is the kind of man he is- willing to cut his nose to spite his face.

Coming back to the food security bill. One needs to ask the Congress why did it take over six decades to address the hunger problem in India (even if they are going about it in the worst possible way)? The timing betrays their intentions. Anyone can see that this bill is a fraud and aimed at winning the UPA a third term rather than helping the hungry out. Why? Think about it. We waste over 55,000 crore worth of grains every year. This has been going on for a very long time. Even during the BJP rule. And no one did anything about it. It would have been cheaper and efficient to stop the wastage and build and infrastructure which enables this grain to get to the hungry. The reason is that such a move cannot be shown to the voter as an achievement of Sonia Gandhi. Such a move will actually be accepting a mistake and rectification thereof and thus unpopular amongst our politicos. The food security bill can be sold to the gullible voter as the umpteenth social welfare plan named after someone from the Gandhi family. This is why I think that this bill is a total fraud whose only aim is to win Rahul Gandhi a direct or an indirect PM’ship of India.

Dear Sister, You Are On Your Own

Manmohan Singh is our PM. Not once but twice. With less than 30% of votes. Anyone who thinks that we have a functional democracy needs to get their head examined. Our netas are nothing short of clones of bad Hindi movie villains. Our bureaucrats who are supposed to keep our system running smoothly get railroaded or become part of the corrupt system. Our media, who are supposed to be the voice of reason and create non-constitutional system of checks and balances, are equally culpable in the decay of the system. They practice guerilla journalism answering to either money or leftist political causes. Case in point is the entire NDTV crew headed by the likes of Dutt and Razdan. Our defence forces have been rendered impotent. Poor Jawans! Between the corrupt and pusillanimous netas and equally corrupt and self aggrandizing babus, what chance do they have? Of course the lesser we say about our police force the better. Think about it. When we are in problem, the thought of police bothers us more than the problem itself. What prayer does the man or the woman on the street have?

It almost feels like the country is running on a prayer. Prayer and our perseverance. At the end of the day, we can deal with a lot of problems. What we cannot deal with is the threat to our lives. Civilization has declawed us. All we have is our wit and common sense to save us. When a person with obvious signs of wealth walks unprotected through a dangerous area it one could say that the person is asking for trouble. Cruel as it may be but that is God’s honest truth. In a country like ours we are responsible for our own safety.

This brings me to the subject of rape. As a father, I can say that it is one of the most terrifying thoughts a man can have. You can protect your kids only up to a certain age. After that they will step out and be at the mercy of wolves, armed with only their wits. That goes multiple folds for the girls. We as parents can do only so much for them. However after a while it becomes responsibility of the girls to protect themselves.

In our country a male child is a preferred one. They get special treatment. That always leads to a warped sense of entitlement. They are told that the girls are supposed to be either this way or that way but the message invariable is that you are better than the girls. I am a man. Men are pigs all over the world but they are more so in countries where they are the preferred sex (by parents). This makes EVERY Indian man a potential predator. That is my message to Indian girls. If you decide to go to an abandoned building with only one person, aren’t you putting yourself in the harm’s way? If you are out partying till late, aren’t you asking for trouble?

You could say that I am essentially holding women responsible for getting raped! To some extent I may be guilty of paraphrasing Mamata Bannerjee and the Khap panchayat geniuses. However, my statement does not come from utter ignorance but a cold and cruel awareness of mine and the system’s extreme impotence. I know that the system should protect them and that Indian men should have more control over themselves and that clothes and their smile or a friendly gesture etc. should not be construed as an invitation for rape. That is the way it should be. That is the right thing. However, I know better. I know that it is wrong but I would rather our women be safe.

My earnest appeal to our sisters is that please be aware of your surroundings. I am sure that you would prefer to be wrong (on the way things should be) and safe than the other way around. There are places where women are safe. Mumbai used to be that way but not anymore. Amdavaad is really safe for girls. Delhi on the other hand is a gone case. Girls need to aware of all this. Of course this does nothing for our helpless sisters in the rural areas or sisters who are rag-pickers but we need to save as many as we can.

Sisters, we cannot save you. The system cannot save you. You are totally on your own. Let your awareness and your instincts be your protector.

It sure is a sorry statement about our country and our civilization.

Bhuj Speech: Modi Challenges Status Quo

Watching MMS speak on the I-Day function, I was reminded of a scene from a Hollywood comedy movie “The Naked Gun”. The hero of the movie (played brilliantly by Leslie Nielson) is supposed to be a bumbling fool, stands in front of a fireworks store on fire. With all the explosions and fireworks behind him, he tells the crowd that all is well and there is nothing here to see.

A country with such resources (both Human and Natural) after 66 years of independence should not be in a situation as we find ourselves in. Today we are facing malnutrition (worse than some Sub Saharan African countries), crimes against women (rapes, feticide etc), crimes against children (malnutrition, child labor and pretty much a very bleak future), corruption (has never been worse and that is saying something!), economy is total ruins (with an Oxford educated economist running the country and Harvard educated economist running the Finance ministry. Maybe these colleges will ask for their degrees back), food prices sky-rocketing, terrorism and the list of national malaise goes on. With all these problems facing us the guy in charge cuts a very sorry picture. Instead of introspection we get platitudes from the ruling party. Why? Because Narendra Modi has the chutzpah to usurp the occasion from MMS. Because Modi spoke better than MMS. Because Modi called Congress’ bluff and lies. Because Modi dared go against the putrid status quo in New Delhi. Because Modi had the guts to mock Robert Vadra. Because Modi is not beholden to Gandhi family via Nehru (like some in BJP are) and he refuses to do any quid pro quo with Congress. Because Modi was rude to MMS. Because it was not polite and we are a nation of delicate sensibilities. Because Modi ruined Independence day for some people.

BOO FRIGGING HOO!! Cry me a river folks. When you see children dying due to completely avoidable reasons or young girls being raped on a daily basis, it is difficult to practice courtesy especially with lying politicians. And this list of politicians is very long and filled with people for whom hypocrisy is a way of life. Listen to what some of these luminaries have said (My response is in bold black following theirs).

Union Minister Salman Khurshid said the following:

"And is he like khalnayak? There was also that a film named Khalnayak. Khalnayak serial is also running. Ask him about that,"

"I ask him today can he hurt the country's interests also to serve his own interests?"

Taking on Modi for his criticism of the Prime Minister's Independence Day speech, he said, "India's Prime Minister, whoever he is and to whichever party he belongs, is today a symbol of India's determination, aspiration.

"I am sorry that someone doesn't even understand the fundamental basic thing about Indian political ethos.. If he (Modi) wants to praise himself, let him do. But Modi should have kept patience at least for today. Today is a historic day which connects us with our freedom struggle. If Modi has not understood this and has no knowledge about this, I feel pity on him..."

All this from a man who stole from the handicapped. When confronted by Arvind Kejriwal, he lost all his dignity (which he clearly wants everyone else to practice) and yelled and screamed like a bad Hindi movie villain. Man who essentially threatened another mortally is invoking freedom struggle. WOW! The term hypocrisy needs redefining.

Digvijay Singh said the following:
Modi’s abrasive hunger for power has no limits,”

Mr. Singh, please focus on evaluating the Congress women using the scale of percent “Tunch Maal” and leave the discussion of nation building to men with actual accomplishments and those who can see beyond their perversions.

Ghulam Nabi Azad said the following:
, "How can any CM give a challenge to PM? Where is the comparison between Raja Bhoj and Gangu". He added, "Who has stopped anybody from giving a challenge. Sitting in one's home everyone is a tiger..."

I don’t know what Azad has done for Congress to earn his exalted position but the man seems to be a milder version of Digvijay Singh when it comes to making statements. He is little to show for when it comes to real accomplishments as far as nation or any part of it is concerned. This man has taken it upon himself to comment on a real performer and a difference maker.

Senior Congress leader Ambika Soni said:
"We should not bring down the level of politics as far the security of the nation and the borders are concerned. With whom are we playing politics by doing this, with all those jawans, who are standing on the borders. The country will not forgive us..."

When Soniaji gets parched, guess who runs for a glass of water? Like so many others, Soni also owes her exalted position to her proximity to the Family. A consummate “chamcha” like her should refrain from invoking topics she has little understanding of.

BJP leader Lal Jaichand Advani today said that on a day like Independence Day leaders should not be critical of others. "I heard the Prime Minister today...Today on Independence Day, without criticising anybody, we all should realise that India has unlimited potential for the future,"

Advani is giving lessons in courtesy while the only lesson he seems to be qualified in giving is the one on how to lose winnable elections. This man has become a sore that refuses to go away.

Clearly Narendra Modi has an agenda and that is to shake things up in New Delhi. He can see that the status quo in New Delhi is unacceptable and needs changing. Making a speech like that in the aftermath of the PM’s ceremonial speech is his way of saying that the same old same old will not do anymore. If niceties need sacrificing, then so be it.

In the United States, whenever the president makes a speech, the opposition is given a chance at a rebuttal immediately after the speech. In India, the PM especially the Congress kind seems to relish their bully pulpit. Finally we have a man with guts to challenge the do-nothing politicians in New Delhi. It is time someone told the emperor that he has no clothes on.

Indian Liberals Are Half Right On Our Pakistan Policy

For once I agree with the leftist liberals. We should stop talking tough with the Pakistanis and threaten to break off the diplomatic talks after every attack. The Pakis act all hurt and do something. Then we retaliate and return the favor. This is like two children fighting. This vicious cycle (they attack and we talk big) is getting tiresome and exposes our foreign policy which is mostly based on hope and emotions rather than hard-nosed pragmatism. Think about it. The USA called off the summit with the Russians even after a traitor leaked sensitive documents to hurt the American interests but they are going to go ahead with lower level talks. That is wise and prudent. What we do is myopic and downright foolish.

Our problem is that the people in charge of our foreign policy are bureaucrats who are more interested in getting promoted and making money rather than coming up with tough and pragmatic choices. Our leaders often are old incompetent men who are either beholden to La Famiglia (like SM Krishna who read the wrong speech att the UN) or men who have too much nostalgia associated with pakistan (memories of Lahore etc.). Unless we get fresh political blood in the South block or get IFS officers who are chess players with guts, this cycle is going to continue. The pakis know it and will keep doing it because our response is so bloody routine. In that regards we are like Pavlov’s dog. The pakis attack. We jump up and down. Then we settle. Then we resume the status quo. They are our enemies and hurting us comes naturally to them. If they can get away with it like they always do, what incentive do they have to stop.

In a rather revealing article, Madhav Nalapat writes the following:

They pointed out that those commanders who adopted a "pro-active stance that would deter the Pakistanis usually suffered in their careers" while the "more cautious ones got promoted". They said that this was in contrast to the Pakistan army, "which always backed the man on the spot, even if he was only a JCO (junior commissioned officer)". Others said that "these days, babus in the Ministry of Defence (MoD) take even tactical decisions best left to the field commanders" and that "interference by the MoD in operational matters has reached the danger level" from the point of view of operational readiness to deal with threats.

This clearly enforces the impression of the existence of older pakiphiles in our government. Even Atal Bihari Bajpayee was one of them. These men are beholden to the cause of peace at all costs. Even in the aftermath of the attack on the parliament the BJP government held back our defense forces. Operation Parakram was reduced to Operation Chai-Samosa.

Yes. Like our leftists say, we should stop talking tough. Of course my (and others who think like me) solution is a bit different. There is an old edict. You never take a knife to a gun fight. If they put one of yours in the hospital, you send one of theirs to the grave. Does this mean we start a war with the pakis? No. We should respond to them in the same coin. The reason why the pakis hide behind the cloak of terrorism and use their soldiers to do the killing is that it gives them deniability. Does that mean we start our own brand of terrorism. No but we have other ways of raising the cost for the pakis. We need a two pronged attack. We need to get some capable IFS officers with guts in the South Block. These men should be more interested in doing their jobs rather than get cushy postings abroad. It is often said that our IFS babus get bested by their paki counterparts because the pakis always come prepared and sound and even look better. All this means a lot because clearly we are not winning this war on the international diplomacy front. This was a lot worse before 9/11 attacks because the paki credibility has since gone down.

We need to undo all the damage IK Gujaral did who was essentially a paki in Indian clothing. We need to revive the RAW dirty tricks department (in a manner of speaking), give them a substantial budget and a free hand to exploit paki fault lines. Unless we hurt the pakis bad, they will not learn. We need to target anti Punjabi Pakistani groups in Pakistan like the MQM or the Balochis and give them the same kind of help that the pakis provide to SIMI or IM or LeT etc. An dthis is not a theory of a frustrated conservative like yours truly but of the very varied group of people. Pravin Swami who is a man in the know says the following:

The group isn’t an aerie of Bharatiya Janata Party-linked hawks: several were intimately involved in the dialogue process that began in 2003; others have been active in non-official India-Pakistan exchanges (full disclosure: I’ve also been involved in some of those meetings).

“It is time”, the statement says, “that policies are devised that will impose a cost on Pakistan for it’s export of terror and thus change the cost-benefit calculus of these policies”. It doesn’t, though, tell what these new policies should be — and that’s why we need a serious national conversation on.

Manmohan Singh and his ilk, irrespective of their party affiliations (we have enough pro-paki people in the BJP as well) need to be removed from decision and policy making positions. People who can pragmatically think and take care of Indian interests ONLY need to be put in place. 2014 elections could not get here more quickly.

Indian Secularism: Excuse For Crime And Non-Governance

Concept of Democracy followed Christianity making it necessary to keep the Church and state separate. This was called secularism. Indian democracy was born under different circumstances and thus Secularism was not a necessary for Indian democracy (Hinduism was never part of governance in India). The bogey of secularism was created in the last twenty years or so to keep conservatives on the defensive and it became a weapon in the hands of Congress (and eventually other regional parties) to beat the then fledgling BJP. Now of course the term is used by men who cannot even spell it or know the meaning of, to make fools out of Muslim voters.

Now just like the Hindus, there are educated and ignorant Muslim voters. Just like Hindus, the ignorant ones outnumber the educated ones. Just like Hindus (manipulated by caste politics), the Muslim ones are manipulated by these pseudo-secular Hindus and demagogic Muslim leaders. Fortunately for the Hindus, there exists and option known as the BJP which used to be a good option but is the last ten years or so, has become a shell of its former self (thanks to poor national leadership). Again, fortunately for Hindus, the BJP has managed to produce very good regional leaders. One of them is a clear front runner and probably one of the best leaders the country has ever seen. Scared of this man’s shadow, Congress and regional parties have started to fall over each other to keep their votebanks consolidated. We saw what Nitish Kumar did in Bihar. We have been a witness to return of Gundaraaj to UP in the name of secularism. Tired of being fooled repeatedly, one Muslim, Dr. Mohammad Sajjad who is a teacher at AMU has written a very good but a somewhat flawed article in the aftermath of the suspension of a rare brave and honest IAS officer (and very aptly named) Ms. Durga Shakti Nagpal (we are all very proud of you Ms. Nagpal!! You give us hope.).

Dr. Sajjad poses some questions for Akhilesh Yadav (who has lost every bit of that sheen he had when he got elected by a confused and misdirected UP voter). He asks (His questions are in bold red. My attempted responses are in parentheses):

Akhilesh, if this (suspension of Ms. Nagpal) is a gesture for wooing the Muslim electorate for the 2014 Lok Sabha election, then the same electorate ask you a few questions:

Why does your party's chief and your father Mulayam Singh Yadav shower laurels upon BJP's L K Advani, who is held as a culprit by the Muslims for the demolition of the Babri Masjid, and whose Rath Yatra caused many communal riots in 1992? (Dr. Sajjad-any voter with an iota of political sense knew that Mulayam Yadav is a survivor and an opportunist. He epitomizes votebank politics and the curse of regional parties where with a handful of MPs, one can hold the country hostage to whims of an individual. Most educated voters saw through that. You are just waking up and smelling the putrid Chai.)

There have been dozens of communal riots in UP ever since you took over as its young chief minister, and neither a single officer nor the rioters have been punished as yet. Why? (Dr. Sajjad- This is a very standard modus operandi of politicians who survive, not by performance or governance but by fear mongering and misdirection. OBC’s and dalits are made to believe that without a leader of their own caste, all hope is lost. If there are more Hindu-Muslim riots (please do not call it communal. We all know what it is) in non BJP ruled states then there is a reason for it. Without such riots, the Muslims can breathe easy, evaluate their living conditions and vote for a performer (like they seem to be doing in Gujarat). With such riots, they are scared into believing that their safety can be looked after best by pseudo-secular Hindus and demagogic Muslims. In absence of such riots, the pseudo-secular parties actually create them as we have seen in the alleged destruction of a wall of the compound of an under construction mosque which led to the firing of this rare and honest IAS officer. It is now clear to everyone that this was nothing but a charade to protect the interest of criminally corrupt politicians. Am glad that you have taken an umbrage to this sordid affair. It does restore my faith in the Muslim intelligentsia to some extent (I say to some extent because of the wrong questions you have posed later)).

Let me go beyond this hackneyed issue of communal riots for the Muslim electorate -- these citizens professing their faith in Islam also need education, health, electricity, roads, bank loans to run their hereditary artisanal manufacturing and enterprise. How much have you done for them? (Dr. Sajjad- Again, why would they do anything? Muslims keep voting for the same people out of fear and prejudices then what incentive do people like Mulayam, Mayawati and their ilk have to perform and govern like other progressive states of the Union?)

Besides distributing laptops, what else have you delivered? (Dr. Sajjad- Hate to be cheeky and cruel but there is something else they have delivered – more Hindu-Muslim riots. In fact Lucknow is now witnessing a Shia-Sunni riot which we all though had ceased.)

What is your performance on law and order? The answer for this is for all to see.

Dr. Sajjad actually makes a very convincing case for the Muslim voters (PLEASE read his article) to re-evaluate their electoral strategy. He says the following (where his narrative betrays a familiar and sad bias)

The sad aspect of the story is: Some better known Muslim leaders/organisations have decided to extend their support to Akhilesh's unjustified act of putting the upright officer under suspension and providing encouragement to the sand-mining mafia of Noida and Greater Noida. Dr. Sajjad –Am really glad that you are taking the Muslim demagogues to task here. I hope that you and like minded Muslims attempt to clean house.

These very leaders along with the secularists shout against Narendra Modi for hounding officers like Sanjiv Bhatt, Samiullah Ansari, etc. Doesn't this misdeed of Akhilesh resemble Narendra Modi's? (Dr. Sajjad- This is where you lose me completely. Of all the rhetorical questions you have raised about Akhilesh Yadav and the Samajwadi Party rule, which one applies to Gujarat? Let us for the moment do something-I will forget the 50+ karsevaks who were burnt alive and the 700+ Hindus who were killed in the ensuing riots and you (as painful as it maybe) forget the 1400 dead Muslims and assume (again painful as it maybe for you) that Narendra Modi was not guilty of anything (as has been found by countless investigations). With that is place, please examine the condition of Gujarati Muslims and the way they have voted versus the Muslims in the rest of the country (especially those under Congress and pseudo-secular regional party rules). Can you do that honestly Sir? If you can then you will see that it is criminally unfair to compare Modi with Akhilesh Yadav as far as performance and governance goes (refer to Maulana Vastanvi before he retracted his statements under pressure)).

If you cannot do that then at the very least have the courtesy of not comparing Sanjiv Bhatt with Durga Shakti Nagpal. Bhatt is a dishonest and disingenuous human being who clearly shares the same biases as the Congress and other pseudo-secular politicians and was willing to be a pawn in the hands of equally dishonest and disingenuous politicians.

It raises a question whether weaker sections don't need an upright officer? What about the mosque at Kadalpur? News reports are very clearly saying that the land on which the masjid is being constructed belongs to the Gram Sabha and not to the Muslims. Now the point is whether the shariat allows this kind of land for a masjid? To the best of my knowledge it doesn't. (Dr. Sajjad – I thank you for raising this point. No one in the media has knowledge or the guts to report this.)

The way out for Muslims is very clear. I AM NOT GOING TO ASK YOU TO VOTE FOR THE BJP. However, please do not vote for crooks and non performers. You are hurting yourselves. Rise above the hatred and the biases. Vote for someone with w record of performance and governance. Please. Your next generation is going to thank you for it.

…And I Don’t Want Amartya Sen As My Economist

A highly coveted, life-changing object often becomes a weapon in the hands of people who decide the winner. Swedes / Europeans have used the Nobel as that for a while now. They cannot do anything about the sciences but give them to deserving people because the winner has to show tangible achievements. There is no subjectivity to it. However, Nobels in peace, literature and Economics (even an objective subject like that and I will try to explain) have been awarded based on the Swedish / European hatred / liking. These awards clearly expose the European prejudices. I will cite some examples from just the last few years.

The Europeans were very angry with George Bush. So anyone who stood opposed to this man was rewarded amply. Al Gore (who almost beat him in 2000) and Obama were awarded the Peace prize. One could make a case for Al Gore environmental crusade but Obama? They got angry with Iran and Shirin Abadi was awarded the Peace Nobel. They got angry with the Muslims after 9/11 and VS Naipaul was immediately awarded the Literature Nobel for his outspoken views on Muslims. They got self righteous about the Chinese and Liu Xiabo was the beneficiary. They got really angry with Bush’s free market policies and the leftist Economist Paul Krugman was rewarded the Economics Nobel. Now the late 1990s were times of prosperity for the west marked by the internet boom symbolizing an unmitigated greed. They had to find an extreme leftist whose policies stood in the face of prosperity. Amartya Sen was the beneficiary. These people denied Gandhi a Nobel Peace prize out of sheer racial prejudice. The winners due to the European bias are also men and women of great accomplishments but with this in mind, do the Nobels really carry the same weight?

I do not know much about Economics. What I know of Sen’s policies is what I have read in publications not beholden to leftist causes. What I do know is that he is a big proponent of Congress’ mega welfare schemes that no one knows how to pay for. An article in Firstpost.com, Arvind Subramanian who is an Economist of repute is quoted. One of the things he says is as follows:


Three, the rights-based approach also “undervalues opportunity costs”. Subramanian gives the example of the right to education (RTE) - an enormously expensive exercise with doubtful payoffs. It would have been far cheaper and more effective to focus on ensuring teachers turned up for work - thus improving student learning. The RTE is an extravagance the country could have done without, when cheaper and more focused solutions were possible. The UPA never weighed the costs of what could have been done with the money spent - hence incurring a huge opportunity cost.

I may not know money but I do know one thing. If a theory is applied and the results are a disaster then the theory must be lacking in some way or the other. If Congress is following Amartya Sen’s policies and the economy is a disaster where only redefinition of poverty is a cure for poverty then Sen’s policies must be deficient. Now Amratya Sen is using his celebrity (Thank You Nobel Committee) for speaking out against Narendra Modi betraying the pedestrian leftist attitudes of the leftist Bengali Bhadralok. He like all other leftist Bengalis can continue to vote for the Communists or Mamta Bannerjee but they must remember one thing. They can say whatever they like (Free country and all) but every one of them represents only one vote. He is free to vote against Narendra Modi. He does not want Bhai Narendra as his PM but has he stopped in asking an extremely important and potentially an ego busting question? Does Narendra Modi want him as his Economist?

The results of Congress’ and thus Sen’s economic policies are there for all to see. Montek Ahluwalia and Manmohan Singh are redefining poverty to reduce the number of poor. Ghareeb hatao not ghareebi seems to be their mantra. They refuse to answer a simple question. If the number of poor has gone down so much then what is the need of this back breaking food bill. If the food bill is that badly needed then what can one make of their claim for the declining number of poor?

We know what Modi can do. His accomplishments are there for all to see. Only the liberals and the pseudo-secular brigade cannot see Modi’s accomplishments. In fact even this man says that Modi does not deserve his vote because he has not done anything to make the minorities safe. Sen clearly is of the opinion that minority safety (statistically speaking they are much safer and prosperous in Gujarat than in other “secular bastions”) is the biggest problem facing India and that trumps governance and performance.

Yeah. Sen may not want Modi as his PM. I am quite sure that a performer like Narendra Modi does not want this charlatan as his Economics advisor. I sure don’t.

English or US Visa Unimportant for Modi & BJP but WINNING IS

The one front that we managed to best the Chinese was the call center and other supporting jobs. The reason was that we can speak English as opposed to the Chinese who cannot. The Chinese have taken a note of that and are very aggressively trying to correct that. The importance of knowing and ability to use English with proficiency cannot be denied in this age of global economy. No country is an island or can exist as one if they have any dreams of becoming prosperous. So when Rajnath Singh and Mohan Bhagwat start the whole English versus Indian vernacular debate, I scratch my head. In this unfortunate country of ours we have far far bigger problems than hurt pride of old men. In the face of our children dying of totally avoidable situations, talking of English as a problem seems callous if not downright cruel. Narendra Bhai has a well defined and well received narrative derived from a functional growth model (unlike that of Nitish Kumar). Combine that with the problems the country is facing thanks to Congress’ gross incompetence and corruption, you have a great way of making a case for a regime change in New Delhi. We need to be focused like Arjun was on the eye of the fish. Talking about less important things only dilutes the effort. Westernization maybe a problem but not the one which is killing our kids and destroying our economy. Moreover, to solve that problem we will need a massive social awakening. That cannot be made into an election issue. Bhai Narendra has a winning formula and the BJP / RSS old men would be well advised to stay on the course.

Rajnath Singh has made an appeal to god knows whom for a US VISA for Narendra Modi. In response to that, 65 MPs have written a letter to Obama for denial of the same. The letter is being forwarded by Indian American Muslim council  and has been signed by such luminaries as Akbaruddin Owaisi. We all know Owaisi’s anti Hindu, Anti Indian proclivities. This man epitomizes the disease of pseudo-secularism and vote-bank politics. Indian American Muslim Council is an outfit regularly used by the ISI to embarrass us. Members of this group and their liberal non Muslim friends have been known to hang out with Ghulam Nabi Fai ( A Kashmiri settled in US) who now is in jail in the US for being an ISI spy. If you read the article (url below) then you will know that people signing this letter are the kind of people India could do very well without. These men of low character and no accomplishments have taken it upon themselves to be the judge and jury on a man of admirable accomplishments and personal integrity (post Godhra massacre riots be GODDAMNED!).

Rajnath Singh has done a great disservice to Modi by raising this issue. Getting a US VISA is no certificate of character and ability. I can make a long list of Indian politicians who are criminals and have been to the US many times. The leftist brigade and the Christian lobby in the US have worked hard to deny Modi a US VISA. To that I say – No Big Deal. Modi does not need the US to perform as a CM of Gujarat. If the Americans do not want to be part of the Gujarat experiment then it is their loss. The Chinese, Brits, Germans and others are heavily invested in the state and are benefitting from it. In a small way, it is the US’s loss, not Modi’s.

What Rajnath Singh and the rest of the BJP should be focused on is winning the next general election. The US VISA issue should be ignored like the English and the Westernization debate. You see, if and when Narendra Bhai becomes the PM then the US White House will roll out the red carpet and the Indian liberals and Indian American Muslims will not be able to do anything about it except go hoarse.

Winning the next election is the solution to all the problems. The BJP and RSS old men would be well advised to remember that. They should realize that if Congress or (Gods Forbid) Third Party wins then entire India would be the loser with them in it.

Children’s Deaths: Politicians And IAS Officers Are Responsible

Here is probably what happened. An illiterate / uncaring worked decided to use a pesticide can to fetch oil. The contaminated oil was used to cook food. The children got poisoned. Till now it seems like a case of criminal negligence. But once it was realized that the kids were poisoned, authorities who may be uncaring but are literate should have done the right thing. Clearly the amount of poison was not too much (otherwise the fatalities would have been a lot more). The DM and other officials should have mobilized healthcare resources and pumped the stomach of these children which is an extremely easy process (kids could have been made to drink salt water thereby inducing vomiting and mitigating the un-absorbed poison. I am not saying that all the kids could have been saved but the numbers could have been greatly reduced. But what actually happened was just like a typical Indian operation, one blunder after another was committed with everyone trying to save their own hide. No one is saying that Nitish Kumar is responsible for this but at the very least he could have taken it upon himself to organize the rescue operation. You do not have to be a Modi for this small an operation. What we see is a man still trying to assess the political fallout of the situation. How typical of a desi politico!

Can we avoid all and every accidental death in a country of our size? NO. But what we can do is to implement procedures which take care of such problems and then have trained personnel to follow those blindly. All this could have been avoided if there was a designated container for oil instead of someone using last minute jugaad which is what we are good at. We do not try to follow proper procedure. Instead we always use jugaad as an easy way out. We follow rules at the airport. We follow rules at privately owned establishments. We follow rules and rituals blindly and very properly at temples. We are capable of following procedures but only under fear of law, God or a stick. Ideally we should do so because it is important and has great value (for society and country as a whole).

We see it all around us. The least valuable thing in our country is human life. It maybe because there are too many of us. Caring for people becomes an onerous task. However, people like politicians and IAS babus have a view of the bigger picture. They have a responsibility that comes with the freedom to rape and pillage the country and that is to save a life once in a while. Do the right thing for once.

What stopped Nitish Kumar from dispatching a few helicopters full of medical supplies? What stopped the local DM who clearly is a more educated man than I from calling up all the local doctors and force them to do the right thing? What is stopping the local authorities from ensuring that the ambulance carrying the kids has enough petrol to go where they are supposed to go? What stopped the leaders and the babus to use the allocated funds instead of letting the money lapse? All this points to incompetence and cruel indifference.

Maybe not 15000, but Narendra Modi saved a whole lot of people sitting in what can be considered as an enemy territory by using established protocols. All the rest of our politicians for whom the term incompetent is not enough, sat around offering criticisms and coining terms like Rambo. Compared to Modi who swung into action and did all he could, Nitish Kumar cut a very sorry picture. If Modi is Rambo then Nitish Kumar is a combination of two characters from Sholay - Soorma Bhopali or the “Angrezon Kay Zamane ka Jailer” (roles made immortal by Jagdeep and Asrani respectively who are very competent actors). In fact since the tragedy, Nitish Kumar has been working on managing the political fallout. How do I know this? Isn’t it clear from the way he is engineering a defection in the Bihar BJP? A year ago I thought that Nitish Kumar was a competent CM. Now he looks like just another mistake by the voters.

Hindu Nationalism, Puppies and Narendra Modi

Even non scientists know that oil and water do not mix. Similar poles repel. Day and night cannot coexist. Of course similar analogies cannot be applied to human beings because there always will be exceptions. However, it can be safely assumed that it would be difficult for Hindu nationalists who deem the land they live on, to be their mother and people who believe in the primary supremacy of Ummah (Muslim brotherhood) to get along with any degree of ease.

With this in mind, I am surprised that after all that has happened, Modi feels obliged to talk about Muslims at all. If he thinks that it is important to talk about them (or use analogies which give the votebankers a stick to beat us) with the next elections in mind then I have news for him and the rest of the BJP: “Muslims are never ever going to vote for you”. Modi could solve all our problems while curing cancer and bring peace on our borders and even then the Muslims are not going to vote for him. So why bother? One more thing, India’s problems are far far bigger than the concerns for Muslims and liberals who weep for them incessantly. Modi needs to talk about his visions for India and how he is going to implement his plans rather than make statements that the liberals and media whores are going to jump all over and criminal politicians from the SP are going to take umbrage. All this is very counter -productive.

In fact the whole exercise of the BJP about their plans for Muslims is a gross waste of energy. Modi should do nationally what he has done in Gujarat. Talk about developing the nation as a whole and show the universal value for all the citizens of the land. The discussion should be about India rather than sections of it (caste, regions etc.). Talking about developing sections of the society should be a secondary. If a patient is suffering from a coronary then the doctor is not going to worry about a bad skin rash. Problems facing Muslims are not unique to them. If they claim alienation being unique to them then they need to take a look at Hindu dalits and tribals.

BJP and Narendra Modi cannot afford to lose sight of what makes them a good bet in 2014. Modi has got nothing to apologize for. He needs to ignore the pseudo-secular attempts to change the narrative and derail the discussion. Focus should be on the extreme incompetence of the Congress and narrow minded politics of the regional parties. They need to establish the BJP as the only viable alternative. Like Arjun, he needs to ignore all and focus on the fish’s eye only.

Ishrat Jehan Case: Congress Is Scared And Desperate

“So jah beta Rahul, so jah nahin to Amit Shah aah jayegaa”. One can almost envision Sonia telling Rahul while tucking him for the night. When my friend Swami Tambi and I heard of Amit Shah’s appointment as the BJP point man for UP we were very happy. When we heard of his game plan we became convinced that Bhai Narendra’s confidence in the man’s abilities as an organizer. Swami thought that he should not be revealing his game plan. I told him that it would be found out anyway but what I did not realize how his appointment was going to unhinge the entire Congress machinery.

It is obvious to everyone including the diehard Congress supporters that this government has been an unmitigated disaster at all fronts and in both the terms. If it weren't for the disastrous campaign run by Advani and his crew, UPA would not have won in 2009 but that is neither here nor there. Congress has redefined corruption and scams by making them bigger and sleazier. Even their professed concern and love for the so called Aam Aadmi rings extremely hollow. The latest blow to their claim is a report which claims that India constitutes 40 per cent of the world's malnourished population and the highest rate of underweight children due to improper implementation of government policies. Writing about Congress’ sins and crimes has become repetitive, tedious and painful. But despite of all, it would be foolish to assume that the most corrupt government in our history will give up their dreams of continuing their astonishing run (Thank you Indian Voter!). They will try every dirty trick in their book to win. Since they are in power, they have their faithful babus and lawmen (whose only qualification is how loudly they can bark for the Gandhi family) in charge of important institutions. Subversion of Indian judiciary is chump change for the Congress.

Since the riots in the aftermath of Godhra Station carnage, Congress, their ilk and their media hyenas have tried everything that they could to bring down Modi and his government. They could not have failed more miserably. Since then, Modi has won two more terms, has shown his genius in governance and has become the most popular politician in India. His popularity scares all those who benefit from the status quo in New Delhi. This includes people from BJP also. If BJP brass is scared of Modi cleaning up New Delhi then how scared must the Congress be?

After all the judicial investigations, bullied witnesses (by Teesta Setalvad and others NGOs), lying weasels (like Sanjiv Bhatt), name calling (maut ka saudagar by the wife of Rajiv “Jab ek bada ped(Tree) girta hai to aap-pass ki dharti hilti hi hai” Gandhi), Goebbelsian smear campaign run by Congress’ media vultures, Congress could not bring the Modi government down. With no place to hang their hats on, they have rehashed an old encounter case where a known LeT operative (confirmed by Let, US FBI, jailed terrorist David Coleman Headly) was killed in an encounter with the Gujarat police. Again, despite their best efforts, Congress’s corrupt machinations could not bring Amit Shah down. Now that they have rehashed the case, one now wonders what is it that they could have (proof) or what is it that they hope to achieve?

The latest episode in Uttarakhand where an efficient Modi achieved so much in a short period of time while the Congress leaders were busy doing imitations of a headless chicken, has done nothing to change the voter perception of Modi and Rahul. Now with the Modi juggernaut moving along Congress now are really really afraid. A very conveniently leaked report to Tehelka (Congress owned) and NDTV (The sleaziest media liar. Watching this channel should be declared treason), they claim to have hearsay proof that implicates Amit Shah. It clearly is a gambit of a scared and desperate group who hopes to throw all the lies and insinuation at Shah and Modi and hope to create doubt in the minds of the independent voters (the kind who would vote for Modi but not BJP). Even a false case against Shah would divert his attention, time and energy from his campaign in UP.

I think that this move is going to backfire because Shah and Modi have been up against this for a long time and have successfully bested it. It is also becoming clear that not all the news channels are buying NDTV / Tehelka lies. Differences of opinion on the case among MHA, IB and CBI, have been openly talked about. That has to be expected. Babus in New Delhi are survivors and have loyalty to the chair not to the occupant. With a clear pro Modi wave in the nation why would they lie and cheat to implicate him? After all, if BJP wins then these guys would not want to be seen as Congress stooges.

Only in India and during Congress rule can a terrorist Like Ishrat Jehan (proofs coming from a diverse group of people including the American intelligence machinery) be declared innocent while Sadhvi Pragya and Col Purohit (exonerated by ours and American intelligence) be held without any charges for close to a decade.

I hope and pray for all this to change. The only way that can happen is for the BJP to ignore the barking dogs and soldier on and for the Hindu voters to ignore the incessant barrage of Media inflicted lies and unite and vote for the right person.
