Oklahoma , Obama and O'muslims

One wonders why the US President has taken upon himself to set right the ridiculous imagery the Muslim and Islamic people suffer from or enjoy these days. Even in Mumbai , when the young woman asked him to talk about Jihad , he began by saying that Islam is a good religion. Really Mr BHO ? Did Islam need your endorsement of good faith and good conduct, for people like us to believe in its goodness, infamy and otherwise nutty ideas ? Dear Mr President , every single religion in the world is as good as any in the world. Every religion is a religion of peace , except in the present day Islam where some of these jihadis have imposed upon the rest the savagery of being protectors of Islam whose only weapon of mass destruction is exploding themselves in the public in search of a conjugal bliss with one of the 72 old hags ! Where is the protest and active condemnation by the moderates ? Why blame the rest of the world for their problems ? What the world needs is that Obama do a plain speaking to the Islamic world about ills in their practice of faith and talk openly about the virtues of multi cultural , multi ethnic democratic society with equal rights and liberty for all , women not excluded ! He does not really need to worry about our civilised societies understanding or lack thereof regarding the Muslim world because we don't care really , so long as the jihadis do not hurt the innocent and the helpless in the name of Allah who never told them to do what they do in the name of same Mohammed , who nobody knows what he looks like ! It is time we saw the face that hides itself from everybody else and may we know Why ?

Several years ago , while I was in Vegas , I was received by a Muslim cab driver who assuming that I belonged to his part of the world began bemoaning the "sin city" and how the Muslims had built mosques to purify the American way of life ! I asked him that since his God had given him birth in his holy land called Napakistan, why would he leave such a lovely place to earn sin money from the sinners that came to the sin city ? His pompous reply was that he was the chosen one to set morality right in America ! And therefore I applaud the people of Oklahoma who voted in a ballot measure not to accept any provision of Sharia or International Law in their state over the prevailing rule of the land. This is the exact manner in which the Muslims have taken over various parts of Europe. Everybody who loves the USA must oppose the back door entry of Islam in our open societies just because they can stone their women there they can do it here as well ! Wake up people !

And now a few questions to the Muslims -- do you still believe in 72 virgins waiting for you if you kill in the name of jihad ? And why may I ask , are four wives still allowed ? Or is it retained for the pleasure of the old and infirm ?

Obama’s historic visit to India and the Indian dilemma !

So much is being written and said about BHO’s visit to India scheduled in the next few days. Everybody who feels important about himself is spouting their expectations from this supposedly historic visit. For me it is historic for only one reason – This is the first time that the US President will be on the Indian soil without necessarily “having to” visit NaPakistan in as many years ! Many heads of state come and go and each one has the same silly old “good things” to say about, in essence, how great we Indians are! (Thank you, we know that too! The problem is that we do not know how to be and act great – that is a different story altogether)! Every other visit by the Americans has always been almost mandated by a visit to that unholy land to placate the buyers of American military hardware, which we all know is financed by the American dollar! Customer is king could never be more accurate and business as usual could never be more appropriate! To that end, thank you Obama for visiting India for what India is and everything the United States might need from this country.
The real challenge will be if there is anyone in India who will match Obama with the robust oratory, flamboyant style and a genuine salesmanship conveyed with all its authentic intent that he will deliver in Mumbai and Delhi! I think there is none. He will demonstrate to the erstwhile country of snake charmers, as the West still perhaps wants to perceive us , the true meaning of charm, and that he is a real Pied piper perhaps even better than Bill Clinton himself!
This is the moment that India must seize – by articulating what India really wants from the now-not-so-mighty USA. Instead of playing footsie under the table or expecting that the US will do something without asking in clear and precise manner , India ought to define its own agenda which is practical , pragmatic , not pompous as Panchsheel and Non alignment , and is flexible enough without making any compromise on its core values. One such core value is an absolute, unequivocal statement that Kashmir is not available for any negotiation. If a Roy or a Geelani want a muslim country they are free to leave to the land that was created and given out of the Indian mainland for that purpose alone over 50 years ago. Second , India must ask and demand that ALL napakis leave the POK area as demanded by the UN resolution or else India will explore all legal option to withdraw the issue from the UN and deal with the challenge on its own. Finally , India MUST tell BHO that the US is most welcome to convert Napaki land as warehouse and storage facility for their arms and weapons but should any of it is ever used against India , the Americans will be held accountable and responsible for their warehouse managers action!
The rest , let the diplomats earn their dollars ! IT IS TIME FOR INDIA TO CLEARLY STATE IS CORE CONCERNS , AND FOR GOD SAKE DO NOT EXPECT OTHERS TO GIVE YOU WHAT YOU THINK INDIA DESERVES. THERE IS A VERY SIMPLE SAYING , WHO CARES ABOUT WHAT YOU FEEL YOU DESERVE , YOU GET WHAT YOU DESERVE.

The Derailed Indo Pak Express !!

There was quite a flutter at the US Open Tennis at Flushing Meadows in New York when the pair of Indian Rohan Bopanna and the Paki Qureshi , the Indo-Pak Express , got together to almost win the doubles championship only to be thwarted by the "twin towers" of USA , the great doubles team of Bryan brothers ! On merits of the game alone , it was great to watch the partnership of both teams play in excellent tandem. However , it was so obvious that the junior Querishi took every advantage of the affection shown by the spectators by making political statements regarding his country not being a "terrorist country". He successfully took advantage of the media just like his senior Quereshi the foreign minister when he grabbed the mike to say so in as many words.

While it may make a great emotional story , as these two players were trying to stir up during the press conferences , it has to be noted with caution that beware of the hype and the emotional outbursts of any Indo-pak relationship being subject to any chnage because these boys are showing the way ! For the long term succes of the tennis partnership , I strongly recommend that they continue palying tennis instead of giving political counsel in which case Bopanna will have to convert to Islam because Quereshi will not embrace Hinduism! If that were the case Sania Mirza's chances of improving the relationship due to marriage was much better than the Bopanna -Quereshi partnership. Let the media not overplay the sentiment.

The ground reality is very dangerous with Pakistan's outrageous interference in Kashmir and the Indian Government's inability to respond to this shameless attack on Indian sovereignty. The muslim vote bank issue continues to dog the Congress party. While they had no hesitation in branding Hindus of "saffron "terror , they forgot to call the colours of the Paki terrorism ! The Hindus of India must respond to this allegation at the polling booth soon.

And finally , as much as we all want a good neighbour and good relationships all around , we Indians must not forget that these Napakis do not mean India well and will not settle for anything short of destruction of India - let us not be coy about it ! Just ONE example ought to put India and Indians on alert. They have refused to accept any direct donation from India even for those poor who are ravaged by the floods while accepting all freebies from China ! They cannot say thanks to India while they will to the UN. Why we Indians don't get it ?

Islam's Insha Allah moment has arrived !

There is so much hapenning in relation to Islam all over the world that I believe it is their time of reckoning ! For the followers the " Insha Allah" moment has arrived regardless of how holy it may sound when spoken ! Let us look at only a few events to see how dangerous they can be and the way they think - unless you understand that , no progress is possible of any kind , talks , negotiations or in war ! And the democracies and other religious practioners , better watch out ! This is NOT Islamophobia or hatred against Islam - it is the collective wisdom or lack thereof of the modern day practioners of Islam that is suspect and disliked. It is not the jihadis alone that are extremists by their own right but the moderates who behave and act in a way that puts them in an extreme position.

First , the Islamists blamed the US policies for the massive tragedy called katrina in New Orleans - the people of that city suffered Allah's wrath according to those practioners of Islam and that is what they said at that time! If it was so then what about Allah's wrath in a wretched country like Na-Pak-istan ! Look at the tragedy that has caused havoc in Na-Pak-istan which will take decades to come out of or possibly never, if they continue on their current path of self destruction. There are many reason for the slow speed of donations as accepted and feared by the UN but the most important is that nobody likes Pakistan and their involvement in terrorist activity and that they are congenital liars all the time ! Here is the key issue of understanding for the Indians - the Na-Paki government initially rejected the donation of $ 5 million to help relief efforts ! They eventually relented when the US whacked them and asked to take it - they then made it appear as if THEY were doing India and Indians a favour by accepting that donation!! For all that we know it may perhaps have landed in some jihadi organisations's pocket , after all they must have decided where it goes ?

The lesson is if they have such misplaced and disgusting attitude to their own people's suffering in the name of their revered Allah , what can India really expect in any dialogue with that country ? It would be useful to find out what contribution have other Islamic countries and the Pakis around the world have made to date ? Has anyone ever come across any thing that the pakistanis have ever relented on except when they were beaten back in Kargil and the massive surrender of their armed forces in the eastern theatre. I was told that each of the 96000 or so soldier took a vow to break India. Those very people must be at the helm of affairs , specially the Army !

Second , the issue of building the mosque at ground zero - the site of 9/11 in New York. Much has been said and still more will be talked about whether the mosque , so conveniently now called as a cultural center for fostering peace and understanding amongst non-muslims in New York, be built or not. The Imam and his wife Daisy Khan have sung a completely new tune in the las few days - Daisy has cleverly twisted the argument by becoming a victim again , a typical strategy when they are pressured on the back foot ! She is giving the guilt feeling to those who oppose the move by saying there is so much hatred against Islam ! Dear Daisy , this is no hatred - it is people who are expressing themselves against your obstinate and obdurate attitude whereby you have obfuscated the whole argument - the issue was never the right to build but whether it was the right thing to do. If she wants Islam understood well in this country then here are a few suggestions to consider : 1. you do not need to teach us here about the virtues of freedom of religion - go and build Interfaith cultural centers in your country of origin to teach them how to respect other religions and respect for non-muslims - demonstrate reciprocity. But whjo wants to live in your country of origin anyway as there is no respect for human rights and other religions
2. There is poor collection for relief efforts in Pakistan - why not DELAY and DEFER the mosque project and contribute entire 100 million dollars for the those suffering in the name of Allah !! I am sure their Allah would rather want their downtrodden taken care of rather than entetainment center the American Muslims will enjoy in New York!! 3. The Imam has recently said that the American democratic system is Sharia compliant ! What an audacity to "approve" our way of life as Sharia compliant ! The important question we need to ask Is Sharia , democracy compliant ? Will you still call the draconian sharia law as humane ?

Very soon , the American media will get busy with election coverage and every politician from Senator '"Chop Shop" onwards, will suddenly discover the political correctness as an instument of electoral victory ! They will sell the opposition for the mosque for a few dollars more ! That will be the victory for the "Cordoba initiative" - Insha Allah , we pray it never does.

Karaara Jawaab......Dena Hee Padega!!!!!

That is the message our friend Vidur Sarathi wants to send to the South Block mandarins. The status quo approach is a waste of time and resources.

It is important for us India lovers to acknowledge that any enthusiasm from our end here in the US has to be necessarily preceded by a definite action in India by the Indian government against the misfortune of having a naked terrorist country as neighbor, we could just as well rename them ”Napak-istan" ! That country is napak with its intentions, designs and actions in so far as India is concerned. Getting angry for what US does or does not do is meaningless unless India and Indians demonstrate that no more crap from Napakistan will be tolerated. If US managed to punish Libya and get a good compensation for the Lockerbie tragedy it was because they could, they asked for and settled for nothing less. You get what you negotiate for, you negotiate for what you can do , you do what you have the capability to deliver , you deliver what you believe in , you believe in yourself when you are proud of what and who you are . We Indians behave like chickens , running around once the threat of fox in the hen - house is real or otherwise, waiting for somebody to drive off that invisible fox.

When will the GOI accept, recognize and articulate that Napakistan is NOT and will NEVER be a friendly and well meaning country to India regardless of whatever India might offer. This is the basic premise on which the faulty structure of Indo-napak relationship is based on ! They always set the agenda - GOI always is the responder! They always ask for the extremely ridiculous item of the day , Indians offer a compromise. REMEMBER; THERE CANT BE A COMPROMISE BETWEEN POISON AND FOOD! There is a basic question that the MEA/GOI/Home Ministry needs to answer - are they doing EVERYTHING that they must do to tell the truth and demonize napakistan for what it is? Aren't we trying to be friends with some one who not only does not want to be a friend but actually wants you dead? This may sound harsh to some who wish to live in their own ivory towers but should you want to smell the coffee, you got to be closer to the reality and the truth. There is nothing wrong with an individual Pakistani, it is their collective wisdom or lack thereof that makes them napak and suspect for India!!

Here are a few questions and suggestions - let us discuss them in terms of "What is Possible" and "What is Missing" - and strive to produce the missing !

1. Can GOI declare that country as an UNFRIENDLY STATE?
2. Why must India give them the MFN trade status while they refuse to reciprocate!! Do we fear that India's economy will suffer and disintegrate? Revoke that status w.i.e.
3. Why does MEA give the impression that as if India needs peace more than napak and they seem to be running around because they are told to do so.
4. While the Napak govt continues to spew venom thru their joker called Qureshi - (i say this w/o meaning any insult to jokers who entertain us and make us laugh, this guy gives only irritation) our media and officials bend backwards to ensure that we do not reciprocate with equal affection!
5. Announce an award for Indian citizens for exposing illegal Napakis living in the country - flush them out , you could reduce the chances of another 26/11
6. Suspend tourist activity to and from napakistan except for people of Kuldip Nayar and Lahore lovers variety or else they will go more insane!
7. Commence a consistent campaign to educate the Kashmiris about the napak acts, atrocities, rape and mayhem caused to their erstwhile east Paki brothers and sisters by their napak brothers! What more can they really expect?
8. On another serious note please be wary of the descendants of the Lord Macaulay variety who will do what ever it takes to subjugate a faith and belief we Indians are very proud of - it did take almost a 1000 years to hive off large chunks of land to give away to those who never belonged to the original land, in 1947 and 1971, two large areas were given away by India for countries that did not exist. Don't be surprised if in a ridiculous fashion the napak cricketers put a claim on Hyderabad next!! Just kidding - but you can't be sure , they have that idiot called Qureshi who can only bowl no-balls , who will say anything on the idiot box to make himself look even more ridiculously idiotic !!
9. India must lead the world in a movement to ban religious conversions and start that by implementing a immediate ruling in this regard within the country. The freedom of religion must go along with freedom from religion.
10. Why is the diplomatic corp so scared or hesitant in presenting the Indian case to the US media - what are they afraid of? I can train them if they want to and that would be a perfect place to start the real dialogue. At the moment the US media makes much less than marginal reference to India, Indians and Indian causes despite so many large individual donors and super stars around. Can you imagine that in discussions on terrorism India gets only a side mention, that too if something happens over there.

Both the above forums are loaded with intellectuals, sermonizers, academicians and Foreign Service chieftains of many glories past and present. What seems to be missing is action. Merely stating what the USA SHOULD do in relation to their eventual nemesis called napakistan is calling the obvious? As a promoter of a failed idea of Non-Alignment, India has no friends. Friends help friends, always over those who are preaching an arm length NAM non-action. Two of the original promoters of NAM are vanquished - Egypt and Yugoslavia. India is part of BRIC now and so let us show the Napakis that a Brick can hurt!!
